Ugg - I did once about 6 years ago but the only thing they offered at that time was to tap the serial-printer output. They streamed a psuedo-report/alarm log out with enough codes embedded to enable parsing the status of zones and alarms. But it wasn't pretty and there was no error detection, so the parser had to also be smart enough to detect when it got out of sync and stop parsing garbage etc. We had to map these codes to Modbus for a DCS.
I hope they offer smarter multi-vendor interfaces these days
