i am looking for industrial platform like an SCADA but not for typical PLC solution. The integration will be
handheld Code reader
weight scale RS232
So the system will look for an order (API), and give some instructions to the operator in a Screen.
Then the operator have to do steps that's involves go to the code and weight products.
The system have to read scale and save to a local database.
This solution not involves a PLC so normal HMI or SCADA Solutions are oversized.
I am thinking to have an industrial PC and a software (what i am looking for correct and cost effective industrial solution) to drive a local database.
Then an operator can look for a registered data.
Ignition Edge could be a alternative but is limited on database.
