Question about torque at low speed

Hi,

I'm taking the first steps into this area. I ask whether a brushless motor + ASDA-B2 control is the right choice for this application:

- there is a pulley connected to the crankshaft (no gears)

- wrapped on the pulley there is a rope 2 meters long

- the user can pull and release the rope

- a computer connected to the motor control should apply a torque value, based on some algorithm, giving the user a variable feeling of opponent force to the force he is applying

The app is a flight simulator cockpit.
As the rotation is near to zero, am I on the right track with the given components?

I have no idea what a ASDA-B2 control is, but a brushless motor with a drive configured for torque mode should generically do what you are asking.  A brushless motor can make full torque at zero speed.  If you can find one, a brush motor should also work and be easier to control. A brush motor can make torque with an adjustable DC power supply and only two wires are needed.

by using mechanical brake, we can increase the brussless motor torque. how you are increasing this motor torque by using dc supply
