Dear Experts,

Can I use this converter for modbus communication between Modbus client that operates on RS485 and modbus server that operates via modbus TCP/IP?

Wavershare Industrial RS232/RS485 to Ethernet Converter


There will be multiple devices connected to RS485 Client as multiodrop network except my machine that operates on modbus TCP/IP so I want to get this conveter to conenct my machine to this RS485 multidrop modbus network. Will this work?


Baud rate - 9600

Web site says it supports Modbus so think I would, not used it before.
