Brushless motor wanted. For my project this would be an ideal solution:

Brushless motor DC
Power min 3000 watt
RPM max 900-1200 RPM
Width max 100-110 mm

Other variables can be considered.

Any suggestions to find a solution? I have so far not found any supplier. Would an external rotor (outrunner) be possible?

Most servo motors aren't wound to run that slow. Kollmorgen has some wound for 1500 RPM. They also have some high pole count motors in the 500 RPM range (with lots of torque). You might try a gearmotor from Exlar. They make servomotors with built in gearing that are similar in size to a standard servomotor. Like this: http://www.exlar.com/prod_SL_oview.html
