I plan on using an Auma motor operated valve (MOV) to control the flow of water in my application. My target is to have separate actuator power and control power for this MOV. I want the PLC to still be able to see the statuses of this valve when power is locked out for the actuator. My PLC is 24VDC, Valve power is 480VAC and control signal is 24VDC. I will appreciate any feedback on how to do this and any wiring diagram will help also.

I haven't dealt with this valve specifically but after reviewing a generic electrical drawing, it looks like the signals are all dry contacts so as long as you still have control voltage you should see the status in your PLC.
