Sounds like the new Panelbuilder you installed is crashing your RSLinx. Call A/B tell them its crashing your RSLinx. They may already know about it. A while back I had a pc where NT 4.0 would crash when running Intellution iFix. I had to reinstall NT. No problems since.

Good luck.

Make sure you have administrator rights when you install the software. Rockwell is usually pretty good about checking during install, but we've have various problems when installed improperly.

Same thing happened to me on an NT4 system. Now I can not even run an install for any program, Access violations error 112 etc What the???

If you have 2 partitions or hard disks and you have RS license keys on both partitions/disks, this can cause problems with starting up RSLinx. Verify all your licenses are on one partion/disk.
