Hi,
Can anyone please advise on the weight of the generator rotor in a GE frame 6B type machine? also does anyone know about the requirement for a 'stub shaft' to bolt onto the rotor to allow high speed balancing, because there is only a bearing at the exciter end and the gearbox bearing gets left behind when the rotor is unbolted from the gearbox?
any advice would be much appreciate.
Thanks
