I have been comparing GE Mark VIe to the Emerson Ovation. The control system would control two Alstom/BBC Gas Turbines, one Alstom/BBC Steam Turbine and Balance of Plant. The plant is 25 years old and the DCS has never been upgraded or changed. From the information I gained from Control.com, other places on the internet, references and technical data, I am leaning towards Ovation.

Does anyone have any pros/cons, cautions, advice or comments with using Ovation for this application?

As before, I greatly value anything you can share.
